We like to give back here at Bee Motion so we have introduced our work experience programme for school/college leavers. We understand that it can be a daunting experience potentially leaving education and not knowing what path to go down.
If you are a school/college leaver you are automatically accepted onto our programme - no CV required!
You would be thrown in at the deep end and from day one be supplied a laptop, 50 inch gaming monitor, whatsapp for desktop, utilising our artificial intelligence/accounting software's and complete the anti money laundering (certified) course.
You will be working alongside a team of trainee Accountants overseen by our Practice manager George.

George Fidler
[22nd April 2024 to 26th April 2024]
My name is George Fidler, I am from Castle Hill High School in year 11.
I am going to sixth form there. I like maths learning numbers and geometry.
I am currently studying 4 GCSE.
I have autism and ADHD so sometimes.
I can’t concentrate in lessons sometimes due to the rest of the class chatting.
I am confident in taking maths GCSE. I go to a youth club on Saturday.
I have a talent when I can calculate what day of the week someone was born.
My hobbies are skiing, gaming and drumming. I now have a VR headset.
I get easily distracted by it I find it hard to revise myself at home.
Maliha Laghari

I’m in year ten and I go to Levenshulme high school.
I’m interested in marketing and psychology. I like hiking ,drawing, and travelling with my family.
I chose Bee Motion because I wanted to gain a deeper understanding of accounting.
I’m interested in accounting because my dad's best friend is an accountant.
Lashkar Jafri

I am currently studying AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting at Tameside College. This is my second year of college as I have completed AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting last year.
I have interest in mostly every subject/topic within my course, but I like preparing financial statements the most. Bee Motion Accounting have given me a warm welcome and are going to walk me through how the real accounting world works.
My first impression was that everyone is very friendly and chill. This has showed me that accounting isn’t just a boring profession. This has motivated me to dive deeper into the accountancy path.
Other than my studies, I have a work-in-progress online business and I have a passion for MMA/UFC. I don’t go outside too much so I get to spend a lot of time with my family.
Oliver Davidson

My name is Oliver and I am in year 11 at Stockport School about to complete my GCSE exams.
My favourite subject would be maths which I believe would be beneficial in working at an accountancy firm.
Having the opportunity to complete work experience has really helped me learn new skills and have a deeper understanding for what working in an office environment would be like.
In my free time I enjoy playing most sports as I play tennis most weekends as well as football in the week.
Overall, I think Bee Motion is a great work place full of interesting and exciting people and would greatly benefit those who are interested in working in the accounting industry as it has so much to offer.

My name is Noah, I am currently in my final year of high school at Stockport School. Through my final year of high school, it has given me a passion towards accounting.
By doing my work experience with Bee Motion it has made able to gain new skills and the office has given me a good understanding of what it’s like to work in a professional environment.
My hope is to be taking an accounting apprenticeship with Bee Motion as it has given me a positive insight on accounting through the other employees.
Besides my academic commitments, I play football for Offerton Park, do boxing and go to the gym.

I am currently enrolled at Cheadle college, studying business, finance, and marketing.
I am particularly interested in the finance part of my course and have been interested in accounting for a few years and Bee motion has given me a positive insight of what it will be like to work in this industry.
The individuals here have shown me that accounting isn’t all serious and you can have fun whilst working. This was a great opportunity. I am planning on continuing down this path by taking an apprenticeship.
In addition to my studies, I have a part-time job and have a passion for boxing. Additionally, I spend a lot of time going out with my friends and spending time with my family.
Max Cordingly

I am currently in my second year studying A level Accounting at Aquinas College.
Bee motion have given me an opportunity to gain valuable work experience in this sector and get a better understanding of what being an accountant would be like on a day-to-day basis.
I am planning to continue this by taking an accounting apprenticeship in September doing an AAT when I finish college.
Outside of college, I work part time at Manchester City as a waiter on match days and as a logistics porter. I also enjoy walking in the Peak District with my dad and going to concerts with a personal favourite being seeing Coldplay in June.
Grace Hall
[T-Level Student - 1 day per week for 43 weeks in 2024]
I am currently doing a T-Level in Business and Administration at Stockport College. I have been interested in the subject since I was in high school and particularly like the finance side.
By doing my work experience at Bee Motion I am hoping to learn new skills and gain more confidence in myself by working in a professional environment.
In my spare time I love going to concerts and festivals, and spending time with my friends and family.

Recently I have finished AAT Bookkeeping L2. I plan to continue studying Bookkeeping L3.
However, my academic background is in Social work, and throughout my career, I have worked as an HR and payroll assistant.
I applied to Bee Motion for work experience to gain valuable skills and build confidence.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, gardening, and baking.
Daniel Church

I have just finished my GCSEs at St. Bede's College, and during this time, I developed a strong interest in the financial sector.
This newfound passion prompted me to apply for a one-week work experience opportunity at Bee Motion.
Upon being accepted, I was thrilled at the prospect of gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and highly skilled environment.
In addition to my academic commitments, I am an active member of both my school's football team and Wythenshawe Town FC. Through my involvement in football, I have acquired valuable skills related to teamwork and the importance of perseverance, which I believe are transferable to various aspects of life.

I am currently the Head of School at Stockport Grammar School, after 11 academic years. I am currently studying Politics, Economics and History.
Bee Motion is a firm that have values and traits that are aligned with me: pragmatism, critical thinking and passion.
Hence, by being able to complete my work experience here, I am able to strengthen these pivotal concepts and learn even more.
Writing for the School’s Literature Magazine, being part of Senior MUN and of course Amnesty + have allowed me to gain knowledge and this reflects my ambition to help those within my community.
Whether that is producing research on political and economic issues of the day or helping local charities, there are truly unlimited ways in which one could support people and simultaneously pursue interests.
I am slowly returning to sports as well such as tennis which brings me a lot of joy. I am confident that by having my work experience at Bee Motion, I will learn more about the microeconomics objectives of firms and have the ability to form solutions.

My name is Juan Odedra-Funes, I have just finished year 12 at St. Ambrose College. Throughout this past year I have been studying Economics which has led me to become interested in the finance sector.
I applied for a week of work experience at Bee Motion to gain an insight into the work carried out in this sector as I am unsure of what degree to pursue at university.
Outside of school I enjoy playing weekly 6 aside football with my friends, reading about Economics and reading about Biology.

My name is Mushfiq Matin, I’ve recently completed my GCSE’s at Stockport Grammar School. After a few days of working here, I came to acknowledge that the firms’ employees are hard-working, resilient + all within a skilled professional environment.
I joined Bee Motion in July 2023 for a week to gain valuable summer experience in a dynamic and motivated accountancy firm to assist me in my professional development.
In addition to my academic and working ambition, I play for Whalley Range U15 AFC. In my free time I enjoy: football, personal + skill development, reading books, gaming, origami, chess, puzzle solving, and without needing to say, my family.
I’ve learned many important lessons from working here for a week: working smarter not harder, continuous learning, persistence. Furthermore, I really want to thank the Bee team for bee-ing one of the best.
Josh Sparrow

My name is Josh, and I recently completed my IGCSEs with a strong interest in maths and finance. Eager to gain practical experience in the business world, I applied for a week of work experience at Bee Motion. I was thrilled to receive an offer and accepted, recognising it as a valuable opportunity to work alongside highly skilled professionals in a friendly environment.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I am a rugby player both for Stockport Rugby Club and Stockport Grammar School. Rugby has been an integral part of my life, teaching me the importance of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. When I'm not on the rugby field, I am often at the gym training. I believe that physical fitness is essential for well-being and plays a crucial role in maintaining focus and productivity in all aspects of life.
Beyond my athletic endeavours, I am a fan of the Sale Sharks rugby team. I enjoy watching their matches and keeping up with the latest developments in the sport. Additionally, spending quality time with my family and friends is important to me.
Shreya Kapoor

I love playing for my college football team alongside my friends. I always do my best in all my college lessons and I enjoy colouring. Additionally, I like activities such as dancing, singing, and cooking with my parents.
In the future, I plan to join a drama club, as it provides an opportunity to meet new friends and pursue my passion for the performing.

"As an A-level student studying Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, I chose these subjects to have a wide range of opportunities in the future. Recently, I had the opportunity to do work experience in accounting, which provided valuable insights into the profession. I learned that accounting is more than just numbers; it requires hard work, dedication, and contemplation.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Bee Motion and appreciated the positive work environment there.
In addition to my studies, I have a passion for cooking and baking, and I believe I make the best pizzas. Cricket is my favorite sport to both play and watch".

"Having just finished my GCSE's, I was notified of an opportunity to spend a week in an accounting office, Bee-Motion. Despite not knowing much about accounting, I found it very interesting and found the atmosphere welcoming for those who want a work experience at a young age. I have the ambition of working in a scientific field one day and so I couldn't recommend this more to learn new skills and build confidence working in a work environment.

Georgia came on board for the second time for additional work experience at Bee Motion whilst studying at Manchester Metropolitan University.

"I contacted Bee Motion back in November, in which I went and completed a week’s works experience. I enjoyed the work ethic and atmosphere so much that I decided to get back in contact to complete more work experience. With me studying Business and Marketing at University, aspects of accountancy are shown throughout, so working at Bee Motion has given me the ability to learn a lot more skills and continuously build my confidence when it comes to the world of accountancy".

"I contacted Bee Motion when I was in Year 11, given that I have a lot of interest in accountancy due to lots of my family being in the accountancy and finance business. They offered me a week’s work experience to learn the basics and understand what working in a professional environment would be like. I thought this would be a great opportunity to understand the industry, and everything that comes with it.
Outside of school, I have interests in cars (Especially F1) along with football, gaming, and fitness. However, it’s sometimes hard to like football being an Everton fan".

"While studying at college for A levels in accountancy, geography and sociology, I gained an interest particularly in accountancy and wanted to pursue this as a possible career. Therefore, I contacted Bee Motion to see if they would offer me any work experience to gain more knowledge and understanding of the accountancy world.
This then led me to participating in a week’s experience, where I will be able to gain multiple skills to help me along my future career path and get a feel for what it’s like working with a group of hardworking, positive individuals.
In my own time I like to enjoy Premier league and Champions league football especially when Manchester United are playing. Also, I like spending time with my family going on day outs to locations all around the UK, enjoying the history we possess".

"I first heard of Bee Motion from my mother who had previous business with the company, and it sounded like a good idea since I already had been looking into a job in accounting. I am currently working towards my GCSEs and hoping to take 3 A-Levels in Maths, Biology, and geography.
Outside of my studies I’m also a big gamer putting in many hours into a variety of games as well as that I’m into photography getting lots of pictures with my drone".

"Whilst studying Business and Marketing I discovered some aspects of Accountancy that I wanted to learn more about so I reached out to Bee Motion and they were kind enough to take me on for some work experience.
I joined Bee Motion for a week’s experience to get an insight into the world of accountancy and to gain a further understanding into my career path choices. During my time at Bee Motion, I have learnt a lot of new skills that I can take away with me to pursue a career in whatever I decide to do during/after my studies.
